01

Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how GreySyn Marketing (“GreySyn”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, subscribe to our emails or work with us. GreySyn Marketing is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions can go to hello@greysynmarketing.com at any time.

02

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in our contact form, email us, book a call or become a client, you may share your name, work email, company, website, phone number, budget range, the services you’re interested in, your timeline and anything you include in your message.

Information collected automatically

If analytics or similar tools are enabled on our site, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring site and the date and time of your visit.

Information from others

We may receive information about you from business contacts who refer you to us, or from public professional sources such as company websites and professional networking profiles.

03

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry, schedule calls and prepare proposals;
  • To deliver, manage and report on the Services you’ve hired us for;
  • To send invoices, manage payments and keep business records;
  • To send email updates you’ve subscribed to, which you can stop at any time;
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it;
  • To protect our website and business against fraud, abuse and security threats;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, our legitimate interests in running and growing our business, your consent (for example, for marketing emails), and compliance with legal obligations.

04

Cookies & analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website may use essential cookies that keep the site working and, where enabled and permitted by law, analytics cookies that help us understand which pages are useful.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we’ll ask for it before setting them.

05

Our email marketing

We only send marketing emails to people who’ve asked for them or where the law otherwise allows it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing hello@greysynmarketing.com. We may measure whether our emails are opened or clicked so we can send fewer, better emails.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails won’t stop service-related messages if you’re a client, such as reports, invoices and project updates.

06

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting, scheduling, file sharing, accounting and analytics providers, under contracts that limit how they can use it;
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed;
  • Legal requirements when we’re required to by law or to protect our rights, safety or property;
  • Business transfers if GreySyn is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we’ll let you know.

07

Client campaign data

When we run social media, email or paid campaigns for a client, we may process personal information on that client’s behalf, such as customer email lists or advertising audiences. In those cases, our client controls that data and we process it only according to their instructions and our agreement with them. If you’ve received a campaign we manage for one of our clients, please contact that brand directly about your data, and we’ll support them in responding.

08

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, as summarized in the table above, or for as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it securely.

09

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, strong passwords, multi-factor authentication on key accounts and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if a breach affects your information, we’ll notify you as required by law.

10

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct information that’s inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Delete your personal information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
  • Opt out of marketing emails.

Residents of California and other US states with consumer privacy laws may also have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it’s used, and to not be discriminated against for exercising their rights. To make a request, email hello@greysynmarketing.com. We’ll verify your request and respond within the time required by law. If you’re in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

11

Children's privacy

Our website and Services are designed for businesses and aren’t directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

12

International transfers

Our service providers may store or process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect information transferred internationally.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or the law change. We’ll post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know, such as an email to subscribers.
